External Preview

Not sure if this is a bug or I'm doing something wrong. I have a basic license of Madrix 3 which I'm assuming doesnt have any limitation beyond max number of pixels. My question is why does my external preview window have a spinning X blocking it.
I'd hope $1500 is enough to get me a preview monitor...

When you have plugged a MADRIX KEY basic to your PC MADRIX will unlock the DMX output for 16 DMX universes. The "External Preview" in MADRIX is designed for the DVI output. That means with the MADRIX KEY basic it will not unlock the DVI output and so you will see the spinning cross in the "External Preview".
If you want to use DMX and DVI output at the same time you can upgrade our KEY to the MADRIX KEY professional or you can plug an additional dongle to you PC which unlocks the DVI output.
