Has anyone gone through the same tourcher that I am currently going through right now? I have a client who has bought three ym-lm501master artnet nodes and 8 ym-sve8x512 for data distros via art-net . I can't get anything passed the first universe to talk right with these boxes. I would get more technical but I want to see if anyone has experience with this gear before I write a novel.
Thank you in advance for any help you could throw my way.

Hello Sjohnson50,
Welcome to the MADRIX forum.
.
When you can not send any Art-Net data to this desired Art-Net node please make sure that the node and the PC are connected and the ethernet cable is not broken.
Also please make sure that the Art-Net node and the MADRIX PC are working in the same IP address range but with a different IP address and the same subnet mask. If the PC is using a firewall please make sure that MADRIX has access to send and receive data via the network card.
In the following link you can learn more about the Art-Net connection in MADRIX and how you can change the IP address of the MADRIX PC:

.
With the help of the following tutorial you will get a step by step instruction how you can connect an Art-Net node:

If the desired node don't supports the automatical poll-reply please have a look to this tutorial:

Thank you guertler for you qick response.
I am aware of the ways to setup an art-net network. I am having more of a problem with configureing the node. I understand that this is a madrix only forum but I was just wondering if any other users have ran across the same equipment and if so how did they solved their problems.
