DVI fixture rotation

We're building a screen from LED panels that will sit at a 45 degree angle. Is there any way to rotate just the segment of the DVI patch? We'll have artnet-based pixel tape in the same patch, otherwise I'd just build it horizontally. I appreciate any advice you can give!

Hello RyanP,
Welcome to the MADRIX Forum.
.
When you want to rotate the DVI screen by 45 degree in the patch you have to patch it pixel by pixel in the MADRIX "Patch Editor". At the moment there is no other possibility to rotate the fixture automatically in MADRIX.
.
When you want to rotate the MADRIX effects you can do this very easily by using the "Rotate" section of the "Map Settings" window in MADRIX.
Under the following link you can learn more about the rotation in MADRIX:

Does patching pixel by pixel still allow me to send a horizontal block of dvi information to the panel processor, while making the map tilted? I don't mind the patching if it can still work like the dvi patching/mapping, where I can define a separate behavior for patch vs map.

Hello RyanP,
.
It is possible to send a horizontal line of a 45 degree turned line by using the DVI Map mode in the MADRIX "Patch Editor".
