I've been running 3.X 2.14g for almost a year with no issues. Today in the middle of a show, I lost half of my lights. So I tried to restart the program. Clicked on the X and waited a minute and went to load up Madrix again and it just sits at the splash screen.

I'm downloading 3.5a currently but I'm not sure this is going to fix it. I have to completely restart my machine in order for the program to release whatever is causing it to shut off the lights and crashing the program.


Update:

3.5a took a while to run, had to browse through the forums before I stumbled on you have to connect to the Internet for the program to load once, rather silly.

I got everything transferred from 2.14g except my device settings. The file extension is wrong. Could use some help with that. The help file doesn't mention anything on it.

So come to find out 3.5a doesn't offer drivers for the fixtures I have.

Is there a way to get LEDwalker and Entec Drives for 3.5a

Why would they limit certrain drivers to be used for one version and not the other.

It shows up in the fixture library but that doesn't help if there is no driver to attach to the profile.

The two interface will not be supported in MADRIX 3 because this interfaces are not compatible with MADRIX 3.

It is hard to say why MADRIX lost the fixtures/interfaces during your show. If you need to use MADRIX 2 furthermore please send us a short e-mail with the serial number of your MADRIX KEY to info[at]madrix[dot]com and we will send you a download link for the lates version of MADRIX 2.
Please note that the software support and project support for the MADRIX 2.X series has ended.

So because they won't port over the drivers from 2 to 3 I am stuck with an lower version of software. That seems silly. The fixtures I have are in the 3.0 software how hard can it be to update the LEDwalker drivers to work for 3.0.

Looking at the driver list from 2 to 3 it is almost like they gave up with making drivers at 3 as it has half of what was in 2.
