1. You need one DMX-IN interface like the MADRIX USBone.
.
2. Go to the Device Manager of MADRIX and there to the DMX input Tab.
.
3. Enable the Input, select the device and the kind of protocol you want to use.
.
4. Go
.
The differnet kind of protocols you can read in the manual

Ok, This is how it is hooked up at the moment.
Vista T2 coming out ART-NET into the MADRIX Computer into a network card.
We installed a second network card for an output to CK-NET (Color Kinectics)
First Question, Will this work hooked up this way?
Second, If yes, what are the network settings need to be? If no what do we need?
Third, How should the console be setup?
My understanding, with the Vista we recall presets from MADRIX.
Thank you,

Hi,
.
i start to answer your questions from the end.
.
Yes with the Vista you recall presets (storage places) from MADRIX.
.
What you have in mind is for sure possible.
.
- First activate ArtNet inside the ArtNet Tab of the device manager from MADRIX.
Select the network card in the drop down beside the enable button you have in mind for the ArtNet.
I recommend to set up a ip address in the range of 2.x.x.x for this network card.
Because ArtNet runs either on 2.x.x.x or 10.x.x.x and the KiNet which you want to use on the second network card have to run on 10.x.x.x.
- Next go to the DMX Input tab of the MADRIX device manager and enable the input for remote control and select the ArtNet device from MADRIX which was automaticaly initialized after switch on ArtNet in the ArtNet tab.
- Select the DMX Input protocol of your choice, the easiest one use just 3 channels, please take a look into the manual to see what are the differences between the different DMX input protocols of MADRIX.
.
Now you should ne able to remote control MADRIX from your Vista.
