NEO MADRIX 3 key?

I am running a MADRIX NEO with MADRIX 3.6i and as far as I can tell the NEO does not require a separate key because it is a key. Am I right? Because right now my MADRIX 3 with the NEO plugged in is still running in demo mode. And I loose my live output every minute.

Hello BigDrum,
Welcome to the MADRIX forum.
In general you won't need a MADRIX key to unlock MADRIX 2 or MADRIX 3 when you connect a NEO to the PC.
But if you are using a very old NEO, it will unlock only one universe in MADRIX 2.
If it is a newer NEO, it will unlock one universe in MADRIX 2 or MADRIX 3.
To check the license of your NEO, please send us the serial number of it. You will find the serial number on the backside of the NEO. You can also send us this information via e-mail to info[at]madrix[dot]com
