Hi! Not sure if this is a bug or something we can fix ourselves. At an install we have a Madrix computer that loses the capture device selection repeatedly. To be clear, the SCE capture effect has an option to select which video input device is used. We only have 1, we select it. The system works for a while then we come back and it is not working. We check, and find that the video capture device is available, but not selected. We select it, and everything works again. It is my suspicion that the computer has lost power or shut down unexpectedly in the interim, but we have everything set up to restart automatically. The only thing that does not start back and work seems to be this device
selection itself. Thanks for any help or insight!

To analyze the issue a bit more in deep we are in need of some more information. Can you please send us an e-mail with the used MADRIX setup and a logfile to info[at]madrix[dot]com

To save the Setup go to "File > Save Setup as..." and enter a name
Please go in MADRIX to "Tools > Logfile", click the button "Save As..." and enter a name for the Logfile.

Furthermore can you please tell us how the camera is connected to the PC, directly via USB or by using a capture card? If you are using a capture card please tell us the manufacturer and model of it.
