Datagate?

Hi , I'm using 3 Neo donggles and now need to run more universes. I've never used the Enntec datagate mk2 but looks like what I need. I just need to know what version of Madrix would let me run 8 universes out of it, the Start or the basic? Or is there something better and cheaper?

What about the Showtec Node-8? anybody have opinions showtec or enntec? the showtec cost less, almost half as much.

Ihave not used the Showtec Node-8 but I have never had any issues with the Enttec Datagate.
To run 8 universes from Madrix you need the Madrix basic key. Madrix Start only supports a single universe, Madrix Basic supports up to 16 universes.

right, for 8 Universes you need a MADRIX basic KEY.

If you thinking about Art-Net there are a lot of Manufacturers you can use.
Tested are Luminex, Enttec (Datagate), Eurolite Node-8.
