Hello phoenix,
Yes, you can do that!
.
In order to realize such a large project, a couple of tips should be noted:
.
- When you want to use more than 256 DMX universes, you need to tell this the software:
Go to the menu 'Preferences > Options… > tab Performance >section Virtual DMX Universes'. Set 'Output' to the required number of DMX universes.
.
The right equipment is also important:
- a high-quality, managed network switch should be used (1 GBit/s)
- high-quality computer network card should be used (1 GBit/s)
- high-quality network components and Art-net controllers should be used (MADRIX LUNA devices are made for this)
- Direct IP Mode should be used in MADRIX for each Art-Net device (instead of Broadcast Mode)
- The computer needs to be powerful enough. Please see here for recommendations:

.
Thanks!
