Re: Audio source not detected by Madrix
Just as an update: Madrix liked the new SoundBlaster card.
It also liked the DMXKing box.
Now to see what Madrix can do!

Re: Madrix and LOR
Ah, I see. Thanks! I bought a KingDmx unit (it's on the approved list) and will give that a try. By the time I get this working, I'll write up a "How to" for getting LOR and Madrix to play nice together  One interesting thing is, by having to fight with the LOR boxes, I'm getting a be...

Re: Audio source not detected by Madrix
Thank you for the link. I don't understand how it doesn't show up in Madrix (it shows up in Windows, it's enabled, and music/games work great with it). I'm guessing that because it's an on-board sound card Madrix just doesn't like it. I'll buy a sound blaster card and see if Madrix likes that (the l...

Re: Audio source not detected by Madrix
I updated all my drivers and still no realtek soundcard on the dropdown. I defaulted Madrix to my usb Microphone and sure enough that works. Got some flashes of light on the screen (exciting). Now just gotta get the soundcard to work (it works with everything else). Is there a list of compatible sou...

Re: LOR Controllers
Oh I see...... Madrix has to have a USB interface that is detected by the computer (duh).
I just bought a DMXking interface listed on the supported list.
Hope it works good, shipping was very expensive.
Nothing on the supported DMX list is on Amazon..... that stinks.

Re: Madrix and LOR
Oh you asked a few questions: Yes you can set the channels to anything you want with LOR controllers, and yes they daisy chain together. My controller is set to DMX 1. Is there a way to blast out Madrix/DMX signals over a USB interface without a USB DMX controller? The LOR controllers work by a USB ...

Re: LOR Controllers
I know the YouTube video that turned me on to LOR/Madrix says you need a USB to DMX controller....... I'd like to know why? The current LOR controllers understand DMX (they have DMX controllers build in), so why can't we control them via the USB to RJ45 converter that comes with LOR controllers usin...

Audio source not detected by Madrix
I'm getting my feet wet wet the demo (very nice) but Madrix doesn't see my audio device. It's just a simple realtek onboard sound card I want it to listen to... and it's not on the drop down list under preference/device manager/audio input. It sees my microphone, my webcam, and the spdif output but ...

Re: Madrix and LOR
Oh, I forgot...... in other threads about using Madrix and LOR.... they talk about installing a patch. What does this mean? Is there a bit of software that needs to be installed to make it work? An extension to Madrix?
I'm totally new to Madrix, a noob question for sure.
Thanks again!
