Controlling alternate DMX fixtures
Hello,
I have a client that would like to have a fiber optic drape as part of their display. The unit is a Martin Rush FiberSource 1 http://www.martin.com/en-us/product-det ... ersource-1. It has 5 channels of control, and is a DMX fixture. I'm wondering if it is possible to create a profile for this fixture. Or perhaps just a 5 channel fixture in Madrix that I can set the individual parameters on via the programmer?
Thanks!
Lorin Sly

Re: Controlling alternate DMX fixtures
Hi Lorin,
I am sorry, but it does not make much sense to control this with the MADRIX Software.
The fixture simply does not allow full control of single color channels, i.e. pixel mapping.
If you have only one unit, you could use the DMX Fader Tool (menu 'Tools'), since it allows control of up to 12 individual channels.
Thanks!
