How can i fix specific channels so they do not change?
Hi, I am using a DMX to RF product that requires me to set channel 1 to 85% (or 217) to allow control of the device, then channels 2,6,10 and 14 to zero as per below these channels control 'flash'. Zero % = steady and 100% = full flash.
I need to FIX these channels but I want to run effects as usual across all the rest of the channels - any help will be very much appreciated
I basically need the following (just 1 universe):
1. FIX address 001 in Madrix to 85% (217)
2. FIX address 002, 006, 010, 014 (Beam addresses) to 0 for steady on
3. Run all other effects as usual across the rest of my universe
Thank You - Aussie Andrew

Hi andrewpsyc,
Welcome to the MADRIX forum.
You can achieve this by creating (or editing) a corrosponding fixture in the MADRIX Fixture Editor and use it for your patch.
Here you can learn how to create own fixtures:
http://help.madrix.com/tutorials/html/h ... ditor.html
http://help.madrix.com/tutorials/html/i ... xture.html
Just set the "Default Value" to a specific value (for example "217") and activate the checkbox "Fixed".
In your case it should look something like this:
Channel 1: Default Value=217 "fixed"
Channel 2: Default Value=0 "fixed"
...
Channel 14: Default Value=0 "fixed"
If you send us the DMX-chart to info@madrix.com we can create the fixture for you!
I hope this helps you. Have a nice day!

Hi Schulze, thank you so much.
I will try the below later and tell you how I go. I have also sent through an email with the DMX Chart.
Thanks again
