Hi all
i have problem with midi connection. i don't know why my madrix laptop can't connect to akai apc 40 mk II so i can't to remote the madrix.
every i connect the akai madrix always show "The MIDI device could not be opened"
i was install the live software from ableton but still same.
does anyone know???

Hi bew,

Could you please try to start MADRIX only, so that MADRIX is the only software which has access to the MIDI device?
Does that solve the issue?

i was try every time to start madrix only but result but still same.
as for you know, the madrix i use is 3.6i and 3 days ago i update to 3.6j but still same cannot connect.
i was remove too the ableton driver but stll same.

that's happened on the 3 days event. on 1st day is okey but the akai connect not at the first i turn on madrix, but after an hour and for 2nd and 3rd the nights mare are happened lol

the day after i update madrix, i try to connect the akai. on the notification tab, enable and remote station can open but when i sent order for the fader like slide, master, color, etc madrix is not respon for that order.

now i am in office try to connected with akai apc series again.

on my laptop i tried to connected with akai apc 40 but the result is same that's madrix cannot open the midi.

and then i tried to connect to my pc whic is madrix 3.6j are installed.
i connected with akai apc 40. for the first that can to connected. but after i close and try to reconnect that madrix cannot to open.
i try to connected again with akai apc 40mkII but still cannot connect.

i don't know why that can happened. even i was downgrade the madrix version to 3.6f still cannot connect.

and now all my pc and laptop that installed the madrix cannot connect to akai apc series.

for you know i was uninstall the midi software which the i installed before.

Hi bew,

Does it also happen, when you start MADRIX 3 directly after system start?
It is important that no other MIDI-using software is running before starting MADRIX 3, since it could cause driver issues.
