Madrix Start Error
Madrix Start Error
This is a recurring issue I've had across Madrix versions.
System: Windows 10
Madrix Version: 5.4a
Issue: Perhaps around 20% of the time I click the Madrix icon to start madrix I get this error:
"Madrix.exe Start Error: Please install madrix again. An unknown error occurred"
What I do to resolve is pull up the Task Manager, where Madrix is still shown as running (even though it's been closed on the desktop). Clicking Madrix in the task manager and hitting "End Task" closes it in the task manager, after which clicking the icon on the desktop will open Madrix without issue.
I've emailed screenshots of the issue when it occurs & a logfile to info@madrix
If a technician doesn't know this workaround it becomes a scary bug in the field with Madrix unable to load.

Re: Madrix Start Error
Hi Kaleb,
To further analyze the issue please also send us a MADRIX logfile and the used MADRIX setup to info[at]madrix[dot]com.
To save the logfile please start MADRIX and select "Tools" > "Logfile...", click the button "Save As..." and enter a name for the logfile.
Thanks in advance!
