UNIVERSE SETTINGS MAY NOT BE PRESERVED IN LUNA8
I am a MADRIX LUNA8 user.
It is used with the IP address of 2.0.0.1.
LUNA Firmware
2.05.7300
recently updated to.
Enter the universe setting in the web browser, the setting is completed and the connection is no problem.
When turning off the power and restarting after the next day, it sometimes happens that the universe setting is different from the set number, or the universe number returns to the state before setting.
I have 5 LUNA8's and the symptoms occur in 3 of them.
I suspect a firmware bug as this has never happened before.
I'm very annoyed that the universe number I set is not retained.
Do you have a similar situation or how to improve it?

Re: UNIVERSE SETTINGS MAY NOT BE PRESERVED IN LUNA8
Hi miy,
Please perform a factory reset for the MADRIX LUNAs.
Therefore:
1) Please download the 'MADRIX HARDWARE MANAGER':
https://www.madrix.com/download/MADRIX_ ... nstall.exe
2) Once the software has been installed, please establish a USB OR Ethernet connection to the device.
3) Please perform a right mouse click at the 'MADRIX LUNA' entry under 'Devices' and select 'Restore Factory Default Settings'. Wait for the process to finish.
4) Disconnect and reconnect power to the device.
Here you will find a written explanation (part - Reset Via USB Or Ethernet [MADRIX HARDWARE MANAGER]):
https://help.madrix.com/luna/html/hidd_ ... tures.html
It is also possible to use the hardware reset button to do a factory reset.
Here you can learn how to do it (part - 'Reset To Factory Default Settings'):
https://help.madrix.com/luna/html/hidd_ ... tures.html
If the LUNA still doesn't save the settings, please send us an e-mail to info[at]madrix[dot]com!

Re: UNIVERSE SETTINGS MAY NOT BE PRESERVED IN LUNA8
It's a factory reset, but there's a button to do it on the web browser as well, but I don't think it's working.
The reboot button doesn't seem to work either.
I'll do a factory reset and see what happens.
Should I do a factory reset after updating the firmware?
Thank you.

Hi miy,
Yes if you coming from a really old firmware it is recommend to perform a factory reset (e.g. from 1.05.5997 to 2.05.7300). If you use the MADRIX HARDWARE MANAGER for the update, a factory reset will be peformed if it is necessary.
