Specific setting a single channel?
Hello,
i was wondering if there is a way to set a specific channel within a dmx universe - but not within the matrix itself - to a direct value?
The problem is the following, I'am using Madrix to controll an effect lightning on a building. The system is powered from a enclosure which is electrically isolated from the rest of the building via fibre glass optics. To operate the effect lightning power supply I would like to use some free channels of the dmx bus, by setting them to a specific value. For example the madrix itself uses the channels 1-480, so 510-512 could be used to do other things but only if there is a way to set them separately and permanently. So is there a option in madrix to do this?
Yours faithfully
Christopher

Re: Specific setting a single channel?
Seems like you could build a fixture in Madrix Fixture Editor and set the DMX values there

Hi Christopher,
Sounds as if you are looking for the so-called DMX Fader Tool.
It is available from within MADRIX in the menu "Tools"
Have a look at the user guide:

Good luck!
