New Fixtures

I am new to Madrix. I have just finished setting up a new fixture in my own library. However, Madrix does not see the library. How do I get Madrix to see the new fixture? Thanks. Jim

Hi Jim,

When changing something in the Fixture Library, please make sure to restart MADRIX afterwards. Then, the fixture profiles can be selected in the Matrix Generator or Patch.

However, I would highly recommend to not overwrite the original Fixture Library and instead create a seperate one, which you can then load into MADRIX during start-up. Here is how to do that:

1. Open MADRIX, and go to the menu "Preferences" -> "Options". The tab "Start Options" should be selected.
2. Activate "Load A Special Fixture Library". Then, press the "..." button one line below and choose your library file.
3. Restart MADRIX.
