Can not hold the select effect drop down manu

start from 3.0a , I can not use the mouse to select effect, unless use the down arrow key to hold the menu, thanks a lot to help me to solve it !

If possible, please send a short video of the issue and please create a MADRIX Logfile ( In MADRIX,  go to Tools > Logfile > Save To File... and enter a name for the Logfile. Please send us the file by e-mail. )

What is your screen resolution?
Is it below the MADRIX system requirements?

the screen resolotion is 1440 X 900 (recommand),it just has the problem in Window XP,.
in Win 7, it is OK,the same screen resolotion.
but when i restrore the Win7 to Window xp, the problem happens again

Ok, and did you run the MADRIX window maximized or in the default size which did not cover the whole screen?
