Led Mapping Help
Hi Guys,
Im completely new to my Madrix Journey so please forgive me if im a bit unsure of the ways of madrix.
I,ve used alot of addressable LED's in various projects over the years but always used WS2812b strips or modules with LED edit.
ive decided to try Madrix as its meant to be so much better
My question is, im looking to map out my led design but im completely unsure how to do it.
Ive attached am image for reference, but essentially, imagine a chessboard design where the lines dividing the squares are my led strips. 8.2m long, 6.45m tall. theres 700mm between each strip.
im struggling how to map it all out in Madrix, as im new.
any help will be much appreciated
thanks
Allan

Hi Evil_Genius,
Welcome to the MADRIX Forum.
Unfortunately it seems that you forgot to add the image. Without further information my idea would be to use two Z-layers, one consisting of the horizontal lines and the other one for the vertical lines.
In order to get more familiar with the Patch Editor, I recommend to have a look at our tutorial material:
https://help.madrix.com/tutorials/m5/HT ... ditor.html

Please add the image so I can give some advice. If it doesn't work, please send us an e-mail to info[at]madrix[dot]com.
Thank you!

Hi Evil_Genius,
Thank you for adding the image.
I stick to my previous post, therefore I recommend to patch all the horizontal lines on the first z-layer and the vertical lines on the second z-layer. I added two screenshots of how the patch might look like.
