Error 10051
Error 10051
Hi.
After the PC started getting a bit slow the in house technician made a complete update (BIOS, Windows, drivers, madrix).
First the PC was working fine (at home, no madrix hardware connected) but when installed back in the club the error code 10051 showed up. "Socket send, sending count (-1) not eq"
Any ideas where the problem could be?
Thanks

Re: Error 10051
Hi Pecotic,
This error indicates that MADRIX 5 was not able to send data (or to open the required network socket).
This could be caused for example by one of the following things:
- The used network cable from the PC to the interface might be damaged. Some of the network cards will be deactivated by windows if there is a loose connection to the PC. If the network card was deactivated by the operating system, MADRIX has no chance to send the data via network.
- Energy saving settings of the network card in the "Microsoft Windows" power management settings. If the network will be deactivated after a while, MADRIX can't send the data out.
- The network card itself can be faulty. There could be an hardware or a temperature problem, which renders the network card to be deactivated after a while. In that case you will have to replace the card.
- Please also check the IP address settings. Is the correct IP address assigned?
If the issue is not caused by the points described above, please send us a MADRIX 5 logfile to info[at]madrix[dot]com.
