big issue at Timer Issue

Post by choughseries »

Hello, I have a few Aura’s installed on different projects.
I have one Aura that is using the Timer to schedule functions.
I did watch the Madrix You Tube tutorials on the Aura.
I have all of the location and time settings correct, as seen by the predicted sunrise/sunset indicated in the Aura and the coordinates showing up correctly in Google Maps.
I have two timers set, one for Stop at sunrise and one for Cue 4 at dusk. The time passes, and the scheduled functions never occur. I even tried setting the event start time to a particular hour. Still no results. The log files do not show that the functions occurred as well.

I am also accessing the Aura remotely via the internet because it is installed in another state. To reestablish the connection to the Aura, the power must be cycled on occasion.
Any advise?

Hello choughseries,
Welcome to the MADRIX forum.

In the first step, please double-check the firmware version of the AURA device. You will find this information in the ‘Information’ menu under the section ‘Device Information’.
The latest firmware is: 2.11.2495

If the used AURA isn't working with the latest firmware, please update the AURA via the MADRIX HARDWARE MANAGER.
You can download the HARDWARE MANANGER under the following link:
https://www.madrix.com/download/MADRIX_HARDWARE_MANAGER_Install.exe

How to update the firmware you can learn under the following link:

Hi,
It seems that you have set the correct parameters for the madrix aura, but the scheduled function are still not working as expected. To troubleshoot, you can check if the Aura's firmware is up to date, ensure time synchronization via the NTP server, and try setting a simple event close to the current time to test the timer. Additionally, review the log files for any errors or warnings, and note that an unstable remote connection could affect the Aura's performance.
