Having reset all selected pixels to Ch1 Universe1 in a very custom non-saved Patch
Can we have-create-remap a sequential DMX addressing for selected fixtures? I can sure- fire set them all to one, and then seven, but pretty much flame out after the realization that there's a button missing
and start over. Hey I KNOW to save but changes happen quick when you're rolling and I'm old
VERY useful when controllers count paid-for pixels and might add the spaces between in the count

Hello ChrisCotton,
At the moment MADRIX dosen't provides the possibility to re-address selected fixtures automatically. But I will add this request to the feature wishlist.
For the elaborated problem in this post you can use the "Undo" function of the Patch Editor or double check if MADRIX has automatically saved the setup during your work. Since MADRIX 5.6 it offers the possibilty to save setups automatically by default. You will find the backup setup file under "Documents > MADRIX 5 > setups". The file name of a backupfile has the file extension "*.msbackup". To load this file please rename it and delete the .msbackup".
The MADRIX licenses are working channel based. That means only the patched channels are calculated for the license. It dosen't in which universe it is located. So you are flexible in assigning the fixtures in different universes.
