3D question.
Hi guys,
I've been playing with Madrix for about a year now at the club. I have managed to figure out most of the things I have wanted to do or that I have seen else where.. However one thing is eluding me and that is rotation of 3D effects...
I am using 96 2 metre sticks with 96 LEDs in each. They are laid out in a 12x8 format...
My patch is 8 rows of 12 sticks so I can easily create the wave effect and a 3d equaliser...
However the radar effect is the wrong orientation. It looks good from the side view on a balcony but I want it to look like this effect at 20 secs in the video.

I also want the graph to sometime have a different orientation...
Please can someone help me as I have been trying for months...

I have read these topics numerous times and have created a patch with the z-axis in min. In fact I have created two separate patches on taking me 5 hours as I had to map each led rather than using a pre-programmed led light.
My question is though how do I rotate the radar effect so it would be seen from the bottom rather than the side. Or do I have to use two separate config files and patches???

Re: 3D question.
I think it is so difficult to reproduce because it is a customized Script using the MADRIX Scripting language. It is not done with a different configuration of the Patch or Mapping. And such a script was handwritten and adjusted to the LEd project you see in the video.
