Crash on MIDI
Hi,
I was trying to test using TOUCHOSC and the TOUCHOSC midi bridge to control Madrix.
I was using the "keys" layout and it worked well on the note buttons, but the faders caused Madrix to crash.
Strangely, when I open the MIDI watcher it doesn't crash. This image shows the data from the fader that I used to make it crash.
If I use that fader at all it crashes, and I get the following dialog box, then Madrix stops responding.
Thanks,
Nathan

Re: Crash on MIDI
I can confirm that this bug occurs in the latest version of Madrix when using TouchOSC Bridge. It does not seem to exist in the previous version of Madrix (thankfully I still had the install file on my PC as I had a show on Saturday and was relying on TouchOSC for remote control!).
After assigning a TouchOSC midi command to a Madrix function, attempting to use that midi command crashes the application everytime. I am using the latest version of TouchOSC bridge and TouchOSC IOS app.
If I have some time tomorrow I'll take screenshots and submit a more detailed bug report.
Thanks,
John

Hi Guys, as always we are very interested in a logfile! Did you test any other Midi Hardware?

Re: Crash on MIDI
Very strange. So when I tested today TouchOSC Bridge is working OK. I also tested with a Livid OhmRGB and that works OK too. Loading the Midi watcher when using either device does crash the application however. I tried attaching the log file but couldn't get the uploader to work. Is there an email address I can send it to?
Thanks,
John

@reporter,
Maybe your issues belongs to the bug we fixed in MADRIX 3.1a
If storage places was changed to quikly MADRIX could crash. This is fixed with the today release 3.1a

Re: Crash on MIDI
Great, Thanks.
I'll check it out. I think I've experienced that crash unrelated to MIDI, but didn't know what caused it.
