entec pro, can not activate Input

I can't get the input activated. I got to DMX Devices, I'm running e1.31. to controll my pixels. 49 universes, then trying to set up the entec pro to receive input from LOR. I see the entec pro, but it will only let me enable it as an Output device. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Goal is to run LOR MP3 Show Director, with a IDMX device running to my laptop and controlling Madrix.

I am sorry, but please note that input is not supported for FTDI devices, such as the ENTTEC DMX USB Pro.

I think your best bet is to use e1.31 to control madrix from LOR, thats how I do it.. I call up storage bins and set cue lists / advance from LOR to MADRIX, I dont use an iDMX since e1.31 is supported as an input in MADRIX.

I used to use my enttec as an output to regular LOR controllers as part of the show.. but now I use a Samdevices 4 port board that can control up to 4 universes.. (1 per LOR controller).. it works great.
