Need advice on setup
Hi There,
I hope you can help us to start up our project. We have build the following structure and are currently attaching the LED strips to the struts. Now we would like your advice on our setup. the structure will be 4 meters wide and each strut will have 10 controllable led lengths - there are 115 struts

How can we arrange all the struts in the madrix 3 software so that we can comfortably create effects? There are just x y and z grid possibilities right? Not a sphere type of 3d setup?

Welcome to the MADRIX forum.

When you want to patch such a kind of sculpture/ball in MADRIX I would recommend to spread out the 3D object to a 2D object and patch it as 2D in MADRIX.
In the patch you have to begin with one triangle and add strut by strut until you have added all struts of this object.
