Effects does not stop

Have recently run into this issue and cannot figure out why. Effects will not stop when they should. The effects will continue until the next effect begins. Any Help?

Which effects are you trying to use?
Are you using any other techniques, such as a Chaser or Macro?

The behavior you are describing is the intended and as such default method for MADRIX Effects. Hence, I am not sure what your goal is?

Thanks so much for your reply. I am trying to achieve the on/off of effects. I'm using a variety of effects with no chaser or macro. Just basic. I am wanting an effect on for 4 secs.--off for 4 secs and on again for 4 secs. The bin is not reverting back to bin1 for blackout but is referring to bin 1 when the square is red therefore no blackout. Using this for a Christmas display. Hope I made myself a little more clear. Okay, then depending on how you want everything to look you have a variety of options available to you.

For example, you could set the Layer Opacity to 0 when you want an effect off. Learn more:

Or you could set the BPM speed to 0 to halt the effect first. Learn more:

All of those and more are probably easiest implemented with your time offsets by using the Effect Parameter Chaser, where you can create a list of Steps according to your requirements (4 seconds on, 4 seconds off, 4 seconds on, etc.). Learn more about it here:

Or you could use the Cue List to switch to a Storage Place that uses SCE Color with Black. Learn more here:
