Effect to run one time
Hi,
I would like an expanding 3D shell fomr a point in space to run once (most effects repeat ad not guranteeably from the same in time / cycle). Like radial, but not repeating, so it can be triggered from DMX for one time- any idea how I would do it?

Hello higheraudio,
Welcome to the MADRIX forum.
You are right the MADRIX effects are work continuously. But you have the possibility to blank out the effect after a desired time (maybe one run). To blank out the desired effect you can use the "Storage Place Parameter Chaser" in MADRIX and set the Storage Place Submaster to 0 after the desired time.
That means the chaser consists of 2 steps. The first step with submaster 255 and a disired "Wait Time". The second step includes the information for submaster 0 and you can set a Fade Time if wanted. Now you have to change the "Loop Count" to 1 and you have created your desired effect.
Under the following link you can learn more about the chaser in MADRIX:
