LeDMX4 PRO
LeDMX4 PRO
Hi everybody,
I have two universes of GLP's SceneX LED strips plugged into my LeDMX4 Pro device and they are successfully receiving DMX output from the eDMX Configurator. The problem now is I can't get Madrix to take over control of the LEDs. I followed the patching tutorial, the Art Net, and the DMX Devices tutorial all day but I still can't seem to get anywhere. Please help.

Re: LeDMX4 PRO
Hi,
Please start by double-checking the network address settings of both, PC and devices.
What are they set to?

Re: LeDMX4 PRO
On the LeDMX4 Pro device in it's network settings these are the addresses.
Node IP Address: 192. 168.9.113
MAC Address:: 00:1A:19:26:1A:56
Network Adapter IP Address: 10.0.0.1
The LeDMX4 Pro has been recognized in DMX Devices, there are 7 of them corresponding to universes 1,1,2,2,3,3, & 4. I enabled the ones corresponding to universes 1 & 2 because that all I have. There are also 5 LeDMX4 Pro devices recognized in Art-Net, which refer to the various ports on the device.

Re: LeDMX4 PRO
That means that you are seeing the device and its ports in the MADRIX Software already?
Having a device IP of 192.168.9.113 and a computer IP of 10.0.0.1 usually does not work.
But since the LeDMX4 Pro allows you to set a 'Network Adapter IP Address: 10.0.0.1', this could be the reason why you still find it.
What is happening when you use Highlight Mode in the MADRIX Device Manager (light bulb button)?
I'd actually recommend to contact DMXking since they surely know how to set it up.

Re: LeDMX4 PRO
I am glad to hear that!
Was there anything special you did to make it work now?
Thank you.
