Yes, MADRIX 5 supports a lot of well-known industry standards for the data output (for example Art-Net, sACN, DMX512, DVI).
In order to cover large distances , Ethernet based communication protocols such as Art-Net are sACN are often used, which are supported by MADRIX 5. Both Ethernet protocols allow you to transfer DMX data over an Ethernet network.

Simply create your own individual patch with the MADRIX Patch Editor and map your favourite effects on it. That means with the help of the "Mapping" function, you can assign different MADRIX Effects to different areas of your LED installation (and also different fixtures). Of course, you can also map MADRIX Effect on the complete virtual LED matrix and therefore on the complete LED installation.
