Multiple mask layers for one base layer
I'm trying to create an effect that uses multiple layers of the simple shape effect to independently mask my base layer. Is there a way to utilize multiple mask layers for one base layer?

Hello taylordeanharrison,
If your layers are ordered correctly, you will be able to mix respectively mask the desired "base effect" with many other layers. Therefor the base effect layer must be ordered furthest back (in the MADRIX user interface it means it must be the very left effect layer). All desired effect layers which should mask the "base effect layer" needs to be assigned right of them and the mix mode "Mask" must be activated.
