Change RGB light to GRB light
Change RGB light to GRB light
I recently made a patch with RGB lights, but it turned out at the end that those lights are actually GRB lights.
Is there an option to just change the light types to something different or I have to redraw it all again?
I have 18 universes with 160-170 lights....

Re: Change RGB light to GRB light
Hello Dr.,
To swap the colors assignment of the patched fixtures you will have different options in MADRIX:
1.) Using the Main Output Effect Filter of MADRIX 5:
Simply select in the section "Color Swap" the desired swap mode. All the modes are refer to RGB.
If you don't know how to find the Main Output Effect Filter, please have a look under the following link:

2.) Changing the color assignment of the patched fixtures with the help of the Fixture Editor:
For this option you have to open the MADRIX "Fixture Editor", load the used Fixture Library and edit the used fixture.
During the edit you only change the color assignment per DMX Channel. After changing the settings please save the fixture libary and restart MADRIX.
In the next step you have to load the used setup and open the "Patch Editor". Please navigate in the "Patch Editor" to "File > Update Fixtures From Library".
Now all modifications which are done in the "Fixture Editor" will be updated at the patched fixtures.
More about the "Patch Editor" you can learn under the following link:

3.) If you are working with digital LED Tapes and using the MADRIX NEBULA, you will have the possibility to change the channel order and thus the output color assignment will be swapped.
To change the settings of the NEBULA simply open the NEBULA user interface at a desired webbrowser, navigate to the section "Port Output Settings" and change the "Channel Order" per port.
