Preview and DMX Output window error
Last night I had an issue with Madrix on an architectural installation. I had chosen a solid colour (255,100,0) over a 5 universe installation. The preview window confirmed my parameters. However, the resulting show had errors in universes 1 and 3. Further trouble shooting showed that what Madrix wa...

Re: HTTP Remote IP configuration
Thanks for the reply. My instinct tells me that you are correct: that http remote calls are lost due to the art net packets. I am not currently on site to test your solution at the moment. However, we have been able to solve this issue in the past with another lighting controller that has two separa...

HTTP Remote IP configuration
We have a large Madrix / Artnet installation with 40 universes which we are controlling with the HTTP remote. The HTTP calls are being lost in the network traffic due to all the art-net packets being sent. We are going to add a second ethernet port to our device and we need to be able to switch the ...

combining remote commands
Hello,
Is there a way to combine remote commands?
For example, I would like to combine commands like:
http://10.10.155.141/RemoteCommands/SetLayerA=2
http://10.10.155.141/RemoteCommands/Set ... pacity=255
Is there a formula I can use to combine several commands?
Thanks

What video format do you use?
I'm trying a few different video formats for Madrix. What formats are you using -- what works best?

Re: Video Capture Cards
thanks for the link -- i'll check it out.
Our output resolution is not huge, but at this point I'm not sure what my source signal is going to be -- I'd like to be prepared for both the high and low ends.
The output is a colorkinetics iColor Flex LMX matrix.

Video Capture Cards
Hello,
I've been looking for a reliable video capture card to grab live hd video feeds to interface with Madrix in a permanent museum application.
Does anybody have a suggestion?
it needs to be bullet-proof professional grade with a good warranty.
thanks for any advice.
