dongle not showing up

I jst got madrix today plugged in the dongle and the update window came up then disappeared. I tried restarting a few times but the window won't pop up and Madrix still shows no usb key. What do I do??

OK, what was the last situation it works, what you have changed after it no more works.
What kind of MADRIX version you have running?

If I may add something:

1) You can always access the update window yourself: In MADRIX, please navigate to the menu "Help" -> "Update MADRIX Version...".

2) We always recommend using the latest release version of MADRIX. Please install MADRIX 2.14, connect your USB key, and start MADRIX. It may take a few moments before the USB key is recognized.
