Modifying separate layer from external controller

So i have a project where i have a video wall, wall washers and some planters with light in them I'd like to control those lights separate (I'm already doing from the program with layers) from a external controller is it possible to control a single layer then another one?

In MADRIX 2 you are able to control which is the selected layer and your are able to control the submaster and the opacity of the selected layer as you can see here

but is there additional control besides opacity and submaster for colors and effects?

No, not with the regular remote DMX posibilities.
What you can do is to write a macro which gets the DMX input and set the properties of the effect as you like.
