Fixture configuration

I have 2 rows of 71 lights in each. I would like to have the same effect applied to each of the 2 rows. for example, if i assign a 'volume meter' effect, i want both rows to show the show in parrellel.

_______________ 1 to 213 (dmx address)
_______________ 214 to 426 (dmx address)


I have tried using the patch generator and cant seem to figure it out.

no big deal for MADRIX.

Patch your fixtures 71 for x by 2 for y, so you get your two rows.
Now select the effect of your mind and step into the map dialog. There select the top half section for tile (on the right side of the map dialog) than select repeat for the tile option at the bottom of the tile section within the map dialog.
