Multiple LED Tubes Acting As One (Not Individually)
Hi, I'm new to all this, so apologies for any of my ridiculous questions.
I have 28 DMX512 64LEDs 16Pixels in a kind of cube formation. At the moment I have the Luna 4 using 3 DMX universes. I've been testing out some of the stock patches, but all of the tubes in each universe act as one tube, displaying the same pixels. I'm sure this is an addressing issue.
I've used the highlight tool on the patch editor, and the 10 tubes on universe 1 all light up when selecting just one tube on the Madrix display. It's the same for universe 2 and 3.
What should my next step be?

Can you please check if there is a way to address each tube individually?
With DMX512-based fixtures, the fixtures themselves need to be addressed correctly and each have their own DMX address in order to work correctly.

I was told by the UK supplier of MADRIX that the software addresses the tubes, itself. Might I have to buy a separate DMS address writer then?
Is it not possible from within MADRIX software?

Unless the DMX profile of your tubes has provisions for remote addressing that can be triggered via DMX, I don't see how Madrix could do that. Every DMX tube we've ever come across required the use of an address writer.

Thanks for the info. Much appreciated!

Case solved. I got an addresser and it's all working perfectly, now.
